Budleigh Salterton - Devon

Just outside the picturesque Devon seaside village of Budleigh Salterton is the birthplace of Walter Raleigh at Hayes Barton.

Close by are the underground caverns at Beer Quarry and Pecorama.

There are tram rides to be had through the glorious Axe Valley from Seaton and superb coastal walking paths offering fabulous views into the English Channel.

If you enjoy street markets and antique shops you simply must pop up to Honiton.

The magnificent historical gardens of Bicton Park Botanical Gardens are at East Budleigh.
