Exmouth - Devon seaside beaches, sandcastles, rock pools and scenic beauty.

Situated on spectacular coastline with superb views across the River Exe estuary and surrounded by unspoilt Devon countryside, Exmouth is conveniently not far from the M5 and Exeter, but really is away from it all.

The railway connects directly into Exmouth - it's the end of the line and the hotels are close by!

Exmouth brings wonderful views from all along the Promenade across the Exe Estuary to Dawlish Warren and towards Torbay, with a seemingly endless stream of colourful boats passing by.

There is a huge variety of beachside activities just for the children... and everyone else too! Amusement arcades, donkey rides, crazy golf, boating, Punch and Judy Shows, small railways, cricket, bowls, music and much more.

There are excellent golf courses in the area just a short drive away.

Exmouth Harbour offers you deep sea fishing trips and coastal sightseeing opportunities. There are indoor and outdoor markets for bargain hunters, shows and entertainments, and a fine range of high street shops to browse, and plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs.

The Exe Estuary nature reserve is the winter home for rare birdlife with hides and vantage points all along. See the birds too from a birdwatchers' boat cruise.

Powderham Castle and deer park is near closeby Starcross.

A real family day out may be obtained with a combined visit to the model railways at Pecorama near Beer and tram rides along the glorious Axe Valley from Seaton and close to the Dorset borders.
