Teignmouth - Devon seaside holiday resort

Teignmouth retains much of its Victorian seaside resort charm and a real pleasure for young and old is to stroll along the prom.

The Promenade is long, wide, beautifully kept and the popular beach is wide and sandy.

There is a children's playground and paddling pool, tennis courts, crazy golf and bowling. There are amusements on the Grand Pier and children's donkey rides on the sands.

The sheltered beach on the estuary offers lazing in the sun, swimming and fishing. There are more lovely beaches closeby at Maidencombe and Shaldon, and the entire area is enveloped in gorgeous Devon countryside to enjoy.
